The success of the Speak Samskritam Movement, which started in 1981, is self-propelling.  Our efforts lie mainly in reacquainting the people with the Samskritam that they are already surrounded by.  Once this is done, the interest of people all over the world in learning spoken Samskritam is immense. 

There is a lot more to be done.  Our next steps are to address the issue of languishing ancient manuscripts and to bring contemporariness to the language with respect to publications and terminology to account for the developments over the past couple of centuries.

Towards this end, we have taken up Sarasvati Seva - new publications, Sharada Seva - manuscript project and Shabda Shala - word generation.  Details of these efforts and our on-going translation services may found under this section.
