Speak in Samskritam rather than about

Samskrita Bharati is dedicated to reviving Samskritam as a conversational language and there by bringing about a social change. Rather than speaking about Samskritam, Samskrita Bharati focuses on speaking in Samskritam and using it as a medium of instruction to unearth the treasure - the unsurpassed wisdom of Indian sages, philosophers, scientists, and poets found in ancient Samskrita works and treatises.

Samskrita Conversation to Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Samskrita Bharati aims to start with simple conversation for beginners, and eventually introduce the student to Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita (Gita) studies. This curriculum is designed for enthusiastic students with good knowledge of any Indian language - not prior Samskritam knowledge is not required. For students without the knowledge of any Indian language, Samskrita Bharati has introductory courses (not described here) to prepare them for this curriculum. Upon completion of the five levels a student should be able to:
• speak fluently and write comfortably in Samskritam
• teach up to level-3 Samskritam classes of Samskrita Bharati with ease
• understand Ramayana and Gita shlokaas without the assistance of any translation
