Learn Samskritam, unearth the treasure of knowledge

Samskrita Bharati offers duurastha shikShaNam -- learning Samskritam through Correspondence.  This is a unique opportunity to learn Samskritam at your own pace, at your own place.

• Simple and interesting lessons accompanied by MP3 audio.  Lessons include subhaashitas, stories, puzzles, glimpses of Samskrita literature along with an innovative method of language learning.
• No prior knowledge of Samskritam assumed. Teaching starts from BASICS.
• At the end of the course (successful completion of four levels), you will be able to understand shlokaas from original texts like Bhagavad Gita or Ramayana all by yourself!
• Every lesson has several exercise that you can answer.  Correct answers are given at the end of each lesson.  Every grade has a final examination which can be taken supervised or unsupervised.  A panel of teachers will correct your answer papers and mail it back to you. Certificate of completion will be awarded to those who pass supervised final examination.
