Our Vision

Samskrita Bharati envisions a future where Samskritam is restored to its rightful place as a spoken language rather than being just venerated.  A future in which individuals adopt Samskritam as their primary language.  A community of individuals forming a Samskritam village, and then a Samskritam society.  A future in which Samskritam is the mother toungue of an entire generation and every generation following it.  With Samskritam comes Samskriti.  A future where the language is revived and the culture rejuvenated.

This vision is already being realized.  There are many hundreds of thousands of people speaking the language today.
