Samskrita Bharati is an organisation committed to the exposition of the richness and beauty of the Samskrit language and its relevance to the modern world.
Spearheaded by a team of spirited volunteers, Samskrita Bharati conducts various programmes aimed at enabling people from all sections of society to discover the joy of speaking Samskrit, providing a glimpse into the scientific heritage and spiritual wisdom embodied in Samskrit literature and highlighting the need to preserve this precious container of our culture.
The Speak Samskritam Movement took off in 1981. Samskrita Bharati – a Non Governmental, Non – profit organisation dedicated to the cause of Samskrit, was constituted at New Delhi, Bharat in 1995 as a national level organisation. We have our head quarter in New Delhi, Bharat. Our international centre is Aksharam, in Bangalore, Bharat.
