The people behind the movement
A group of youngsters, together with other like-minded Samskrita enthusiasts from various walks of life, launched efforts to teach people how to speak in Samskritam in 10 days. They also came up with the idea of 'Samskritam through correspondence'.
The Pillars
The key factor behind the success of the movement was the dedicated service of sevavratis, volunteers who have dedicated their life for the Samskrita cause. Currently, nearly 250 sevavratis are spreading the message of Samskritam in different parts.
Today's Manpower
As an organization, in India, we have a National Team, several State Teams, over a hundred District Teams and almost a thousand Local Teams. There are about 5000 part time volunteers. North America has over 100 part time volunteers and one full time volunteer. Selfless service, teamwork and net working are our strengths.
Our Reach
People from all walks of life, in many professions, have started their move towards Samskritam. Appeal for the language goes beyond geographical and religious borders. Entire villages are adopting the language - milkman to priest, grand parents to toddlers.
